I would have posted this months ago if not for my university schedule and the persistent DMCA attacks on my channel, the strikes of which would render me unable to upload videos longer than 15minutes.
During the February 19 2014, I reviewed the made for TV movie "The Challenger" starring William Hurt as Richard Feynman. In summary, I thought the film did a good job demonstrating the lengths NASA went to try and coverup the truth about the disaster. But at the same time, I feel the movie falls short of being truly great because of liberties taken with the source material and ignoring significant events and figures.
It is essentially a streamlined, jumbled-up mishmash of sections from Richard Feynman and Al McDonald's respective books. As such, the movie suffers from significant chronologically inaccuracies, key players such as Roger Boisjoly and Richard Cook are conspicuously absent, and some key events are either ignored or at least not given the screen time that they deserved.
The full interview can be listened to here.
